Jeffrey Epstein Cover-Up Part I

Les Wexner, founder of underwear maker L Brands ― which includes mall staples Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works ― is Jeffrey Epstein’s only confirmed client. Vanity Fair reported in 2003 that the two men were very close.

The Wexner Foundation, is headquartered in Ohio and works to develop Jewish professional and volunteer leaders across North America and public leaders in Israel.

Jeffrey Epstein acquired Wexner's mansion at 9 E. 71st St., considered Manhattan’s largest. The New York Times reported that Epstein declared it to be his property in a 1996 interview. According to Bloomberg, which cited one anonymous source familiar with the matter, Wexner sold the home in 1998 to a company affiliated with Epstein. Public records show the title transfer was not made until 2011, for no money.

Several of Epstein’s accusers say that mansion is where he sexually assaulted them.

Jeffrey Epstein is suddenly the biggest name in politics.

BusinessInsider: MBS (Saudi Arabia Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman) had visited Epstein's Manhattan mansion many times and Epstein had a framed photo of the crown prince hanging on the wall, according to New York Times reporter James B. Stewart.

Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's ex-girlfriend and madam was a British socialite and the daughter of media tycoon Robert Maxwell.

In June 2022, a federal judge sentenced Maxwell to 20 years in prison for trafficking girls to have sex with Epstein and sexually abusing them herself.

In an interview published in the New York Times on August 12, Epstein claimed that Elon Musk had sought him out to help manage the trouble he had gotten into with the SEC a year earlier, in August 2018.

Epstein told reporter James B. Stewart that he had promised to keep his work for Tesla private because of his prior conviction. Epstein also warned that both Musk and Tesla would deny their connection to Epstein if it ever became public, the Times reported. In a statement to Business Insider, a spokesperson for Musk denied Epstein's claims of having served as an adviser to the CEO.

Musk has confirmed crossing paths with Epstein at least once, Business Insider reported. Musk, Epstein, and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg were all guests at a dinner hosted by LinkedIn CEO Reid Hoffman sometime after he was released from jail in 2008.

A New York Times investigation published in October found that Bill Gates met with Epstein multiple times after Epstein's conviction in 2011, including at least three meetings at Epstein's Manhattan townhouse.

Mondoweiss: Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking and blackmail operation are of course one of the biggest stories in the country these days, and Israel and its friends have been an ongoing theme in the case.

Epstein, a former hedge fund manager, supported many Jewish causes and Zionist organizations, and was on the board of the Wexner Foundation, which is devoted to Israel. He had friendships with many Israel supporters, from Alan Dershowitz to Howard Rubenstein to Ehud Barak to Larry Summers.

Dershowitz, Epstein’s lawyer, says Israel is a factor in the case. One of Epstein’s victims says that she was compelled to have sex with Dershowitz. He denies the charges, but he has admitted getting a massage at Epstein’s mansion.

“I had sexual intercourse with Dershowitz at least six times,’’ Roberts wrote in a 2015 court affidavit, per the Miami Herald. “The first time was when I was about 16, early on in my servitude to Epstein and it continued until I was 19.”

Federal investigators found an Austrian passport in Epstein’s NY mansion with a fake name and listing an address in Saudi Arabia that Epstein reportedly used to enter four countries, “France, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia.”

Epstein also visited Israel as allegations about him began to turn into potential criminal charges. That was in 2008, when he faced 13 months of jail time over his illegal sexual activities.

Epstein served only a year or so in jail on Florida solicitation charges in 2007-2008, his lawyers cut a non-prosecution plea deal from the feds on more serious charges. Dershowitz was a lawyer on that team. Former US attorney Alexander Acosta cut that deal, and resigned as Labor Secretary when it became an issue.

MiddleEastMonitor: The deceased American financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell were Israeli spies who used underage girls to blackmail politicians into giving information to Israel, according to their alleged Mossad handler.

The couple reportedly ran a "honey-trap" operation in which they provided young girls to prominent politicians from around the world for sex, and then used the incidents to blackmail them in order to attain information for Israeli intelligence.

The claims are being made by the alleged former Israeli spy Ari Ben-Menashe in a soon-to-be-released book "Epstein: Dead Men Tell No Tales" in which he said that he was the handler of Ghislaine's father Robert Maxwell, who was also an Israeli espionage agent and was the one who introduced his daughter and Epstein to Mossad.

"See, f**king around is not a crime. It could be embarrassing, but it's not a crime," Menashe wrote in the book. "But f**king a fourteen-year-old girl is a crime. And he was taking photos of politicians f**king fourteen-year-old girls—if you want to get it straight…They [Epstein and Maxwell] would just blackmail people like that."

Jeffrey Epstein, who was facing charges for sex trafficking minors, was found dead in his New York prison cell on 10 August. According to official reports he committed suicide, but there has been much speculation and evidence put forward that he was in fact killed, with many stating he may have been assassinated due to his knowledge of the figures he blackmailed and the acts they committed.

The statements made by Ben-Menashe are so far unsubstantiated, but if proven true they would provide significant evidence of Israel being involved in the blackmail of senior and prominent politicians and figures in the US.

This would only add to the state's already-revealed track record of manipulating Western nations' political systems, as was seen in the revelations of the Israeli lobby's attempt to "take down" British and US politicians revealed in the past few years.

Investigative reporter Seymour Hersh alleged in his book The Samson Option: Israel’s Nuclear Arsenal and American Foreign Policy that Maxwell was tied to the Israeli Mossad. Hersh was sued for the allegation, but then received an apology.”

“It’s not beyond the realm of possibility that Epstein had connections to the [Israeli intelligence community],” says Julie K. Brown, whose book “Perversion of Justice: The Jeffrey Epstein Story” was released on July 20.

Israel does not normally extradite

TheJerusalemPost: Jeffrey Epstein's dealings in the arms world may have led him to working for the Israeli government, according to a report by The Rolling Stone.

At Jeffrey Epstein’s Manhattan mansion in 2011, from left: James E. Staley, at the time a senior JPMorgan executive; former Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers; Mr. Epstein; Bill Gates, Microsoft’s co-founder; and Boris Nikolic, who was the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s science adviser.

The report's author, Vicky Ward, cites four separate sources, some of which are considered more reliable than others. According to the report, Robert Maxwell - a conduit between the Israeli government and other governments during his life - introduced Epstein to Israeli leaders.

However, Epstein claimed in a 2002 interview with Ward that he had never met Maxwell. He did, however, have a well-known relationship with his daughter Ghislaine.

Epstein did visit Israel in 2008, almost moving permanently to avoid jail time. He decided against it, however, facing 13 months in jail, before being released on July 22, 2009.

Steven Hoffenberg, Epstein's former business associate who Ward conducted an interview with, claimed that Epstein had worked on several projects with Robert Maxwell. Hoffenberg went to jail in 1995 for a Ponzi scheme that he claimed Epstein was a part of.

Hoffenberg also has claimed previously that Ghislaine Maxwell and Epstein met through her father. This has been corroborated by an Epstein staffer, according to a Forbes article.

Like Epstein himself, Maxwell died in mysterious ways. He died officially of a heart attack in 1991, yet according to former Mossad agent Victor Ostrovsky in an interview with Ward, he was killed due to vulnerability because his financial problems. He was buried on Jerusalem's Mount of Olives.

Epstein's connections with Maxwell and the claims from various sources, ranging from former arms dealers to former spies, have led many people to believe that Epstein had a history of working for, and possibly spying for, various countries, including Israel.

Jeffrey Epstein Bankrolled Carbyne

In 2014, Epstein invested $1.5 million in a joint venture with Ehud Barak, an Israeli general and politician who served as the tenth prime minister from 1999 to 2001, which would later fund Carbyne.

TimesOfIsrael: Barak received a payment of $2.3 million from the Wexner Foundation and has not disclosed what the payment was for beyond saying in an interview that he provides “consulting and research services.”

Former prime minister Ehud Barak was a “frequent guest, almost a fixture” at convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s mansion in New York before Epstein’s death in 2019, according to a new book by journalist Michael Wolff. READ MORE: Woman says Epstein forced her to have sex with former PM Barak

Barak has vigorously denied any allegations of sexual wrongdoing, but has reportedly admitted to visiting Epstein’s private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands, as well as his Manhattan mansion.

Officially, Carbyne provided high-tech solutions for emergency centres. In reality, it existed in a grey area giving it unprecedented access to private information, with significant potential for privacy abuse.

Carbyne provides a service for police emergency centres, providing complete access to the caller’s camera and GPS, providing the dispatcher with a live video feed.

Originally known as Reporty Homeland Securities Ltd., Carbyne was founded in 2014 by former Israeli government agents Amir Elichai, Alex Dizengof, Lital Lesham, and Yony Yatsun. The company’s current board includes former DHS Secretary Michael Chertoff, former FEMA Director Robert David Paulison, and former FBI Assistant Intelligence Director Kevin Brock.

Carbyne has made a big splash in the U.S. security industry by forming business relationships with high-profile figures such as former CIA Director Gen. David Petraeus and U.S. billionaire Peter Thiel. As Congress considers including some $500 million in subsidies for 911 emergency call center updates in its infrastructure bill, Carbyne has hired a Washington lobbyist in an apparent drive to expand.

Barak, as former Israeli leader, also has deep ties to Israeli intelligence. The former general faced charges of war crimes, but escaped arrest due to diplomatic immunity. But even Barak is only the tip of the iceberg.

Michael Chertoff, who ran Homeland Security under former president George W. Bush, serves on Carbyne’s advisory board. Chertoff wrote the Patriot Act, which authorised sweeping digital surveillance of Americans.

Peter Thiel, one of the founders of Paypal, Facebook and Palantir, is also a Carbyne investor.

Thiel is an avid Trump supporter, and is heavily invested in military and intelligence companies. Thiel’s Palantir is described as making use of “war on terror tools to track American citizens”.

Today, Carbyne is in the process of expanding in the United States. The firm hired LSN Partners to lobby for the Build Back Better Act and the potential $500 million in subsidies for 911 call center updates therein, according to public disclosures required by the Lobbying Registration Act.

The LSN lobbyists listed on its disclosure forms include Tom Quinn, a former legislative director for then-Rep. Peter Visclosky (D-Ind.), and José Fuentes, a former communications director for USAID and former staffer for the Office of the Vice President and the Department of Defense.

Jeffrey Epstein was blackmailing politicians for Israel's Mossad, new book claims

A recent book Epstein: Dead Men Tell No Tales written by Ari Ben-Menashe the former Israeli intelligence officer who actually ran the Epstein operation, described inter alia how Epstein was blackmailing prominent politicians on behalf of Israeli intelligence.

The handler Ben-Menashe, himself an Iran-born Israeli businessman who says he worked for Mossad from 1977 to 1987, is a mysterious figure who was arrested in 1989 in the US on charges of arms dealing. He was acquitted in 1990, however, only after a jury accepted that he was acting on behalf of the Israeli state. Israel then denied that Menashe has any links with its intelligence services and attempted to distance itself from him, despite the fact that other news reports both in the US and Israel confirmed he was acting on the country’s behalf.

Epstein had been working directly for the Israeli government since the 1980’s and his operation, which was funded by Israel and also by prominent American Jews, was a classic “honey-trap” which used underage girls as bait to attract well-known politicians from around the world, a list that included Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton.

The politicians would be photographed and video recorded when they were in bed with the girls. Afterwards, they would be approached and asked to do favors for Israel.

George W. Bush White House directed Acosta not to prosecute Epstein to protect Prince Andrew on behalf of the British government, then the U.S.’s closest ally in the Iraq war.

U.S. Attorney for Miami Alexander Acosta involved in the case reported that the arrest and sentencing were above his pay grade, that he had been told that Epstein “’belonged to intelligence’, and to leave it alone” a comment that apparently has never been pursued by investigators.

To see prosecutors, who are supposed to be advocating for victims, work so closely with Epstein’s lawyers to make this case go away was pretty surprising.

When [president] Donald Trump nominated Alex Acosta to be his labor secretary in early 2017, I immediately recognized Acosta’s name as being the prosecutor who was responsible for the [non-prosecution] deal. And I just wondered, how do [Epstein’s] victims feel about this — because Acosta was responsible for the Labor Department, which supervises human trafficking and child labor laws.

WashingtonStandard: Russiagate should have really been called Israelgate as it was Israel that was seeking favors from the incoming Trump Administration, not Russia. As Noam Chomsky put it, Israeli interference in American politics “vastly overwhelms” anything Russia has done.

Jeffrey Epstein was not arrested and murdered to protect future innocent victims; he was killed to protect Bill Clinton, Donald Trump and thousands of other powerful figures.

That the Epstein investigation appears to be in reverse gear suggests that one or more powerful Americans are still not implicated in the case but are concerned that that might change, but there remains an accessory to what went on at the Epstein mansion in Manhattan and on his private island in the Caribbean.

Epstein was making videos of his guests having sex with his young girls, which is a version of a classic intelligence entrapment technique referred to as a “honey trap” that is employed by every major spy agency worldwide.

Ghislaine briefly discussed the tapes with CBS News 60 Minutes producer Ira Rosen, also making clear that there were tapes of both Bill Clinton and Donald Trump. The conversation took place in 2016 and she reportedly told Rosen that, given Trump’s involvement in the upcoming election, she would not release any information derived from the tapes relating to Clinton until after the election and she would only do so while also exposing Trump. Up until now, she has done neither.

The FBI had evidence of Epstein’s criminal sex ring for years and did nothing

Insider: FBI agents used a saw to open a locked safe kept in the Manhattan mansion of the deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the agent who led the FBI search team said at Ghislaine Maxwell's trial.

Inside the safe, the FBI special agent said, the officers found hard drives, CDs, diamonds, and passports belonging to Epstein.

Agents also found $70,000 in cash, 48 loose diamonds and other jewelry, and a passport from a foreign country with a picture of Epstein under another name in the safe.

But this is the first time Justice Department officials have mentioned the hard drives in the safe.

When asked by a prosecutor at the trial whether the safe was open, Kelly Maguire, the FBI special agent and leader of the team that searched Epstein's home on July 6 and 7, 2019, testified, "We brought a saw."

Maguire said that the scope of the search warrant didn't permit the agents to seize the hard drives and CDs, so she left them atop the safe.

In a closet on the building's fifth floor, FBI agents also found a shelf full of large black binders. The binders held CDs, carefully categorized in plastic slipcovers and thumbnails with photos on them. The FBI later found that the thumbnails corresponded with photo files on the CDs, Maguire said.

When she got a broader warrant and returned to retrieve them, they were gone.

Maguire called Richard Kahn, one of Epstein's attorneys, and informed him that she had a warrant for the hard drives and CDs.

Kahn came to her office minutes later lugging two suitcases with the items, she said.

Joseph Recarey, a Florida detective who executed a search warrant on Epstein's Palm Beach home as part of an investigation in 2005, said hard drives had gone missing shortly before officers entered the home.

"Six computer hard drives in the house had been hastily removed, leaving dangling wires attached to monitors in several areas of the house," Recarey told the Miami Herald investigative reporter Julie K. Brown for her book "Perversion of Justice."

TimesOfIsrael: [Epstein] did not do this alone. There were plenty of people that either knew about what Epstein was doing, or even participated in what he was doing. This was an international sex trafficking organization that was similar to an organized crime family — so it shouldn’t just end with the prosecution of [Ghislaine Maxwell].

The most interesting aspect of the arrest, imprisonment and trial of Ghislaine Maxwell is what it does not do. She basically is being convicted as a “pimp” for Jeffrey Epstein. Her father was an Israeli intelligence asset and it is believed that he made the connection between Epstein and the Jewish state’s military intelligence.

But no one in that New York court room ever asked that. Nor were there any revelations about Epstein’s “intelligence connection” nor of the possibility that the Israelis had their hooks in both a former and a future American president.

That is the really important stuff that I would like to have the answers to. The fact that the answers are not forthcoming sounds a bit like a cover-up, doesn’t it?
