Who Is the ANTI-Christ?

WHO IS THE ANTI-CHRIST? An arrogant world dictator who will commit the abomination of desolation by proclaiming himself to be God.

And the bible reveals, the Antichrist will be the most arrogant individual in history:

"This little horn had eyes like human eyes and a mouth that was boasting arrogantly." Daniel 7:8 (NLT)

The Antichrist will be a very charismatic leader. In his second letter to the Thessalonians, Paul teaches that before the Day of the Lord the antichrist will be revealed. This coming world ruler will attract followers from all over the world with his magnetic personality. The Antichrist will be able to rise to power by claiming that he and he alone has the answers to the world’s major problems.

The Antichrist will have a huge ego since he will have the audacity to claim that he is God and will demand the world to worship him.

In Daniel 7 he is referred to as the “man of sin, the “little horn.” Daniel wrote, “This horn possessed eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouth uttering great boasts.”

GodReports: Jesus spoke strongly in Mark about the coming deception, in that it will be so intense that even the elect might be deceived. This will happen when "false messiahs and false prophets ... appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." (Mark 13:22)

He will be boastful and egotistical, a megalomaniac in his quest for world power. He will come preaching peace. But Daniel says, “through peace he will destroy many.” (Daniel 8:25)

His authority will be overpowering, his hatreds intense, his political techniques first rate. The news media will not be able to resist covering his every move and pronouncement – however outrageous.

He will be a master deceiver, able to make many people think good is bad and bad is good.

Antichrist’s extraordinary ego will soak up the adulation and worship from his followers. Like his father the devil, what he ultimately wants is worship.

Paul wrote that the antichrist will be restrained until the right moment. “And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way."

Regardless of whether you are religious or non-religious, Christian or of any other religious persuasion, you will be affected by the Mark of the Beast.

AdventMessanger: What Daniel prophesied is quite remarkable. He described a beast (empire) that is unlike any in the natural world. It was a dominating, seemingly unconquerable power that devoured and ruled the entire earth with determined ruthlessness. It was simply unstoppable (Daniel 7:7).

“Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces…And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time” (Revelation 7:23, 25).

The Antichrist will sign a treaty with the state of Israel for a period of seven years.

God refers to this agreement as a "covenant with Sheol" (or hell), and God's assessment will prove true when the Antichrist breaks this covenant after three and a half years.

ChristianToday: I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive. Romans 16: 17-18

“...and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12

The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-13

"The king will do as he pleases, exalting himself and claiming to be greater than every god there is, even blaspheming the God of gods." Daniel 11:36 (NLT)

"He will have no regard for the god of his ancestors, or for the god beloved of women, or for any other god, for he will boast that he is greater than them all. Instead of these, he will worship the god of fortresses - a god his ancestors never knew - and lavish on him gold, silver, precious stones, and costly gifts." Daniel 11:37-38 (NLT)

"He will destroy powerful leaders and devastate the holy people. He will be a master of deception, defeating many by catching them off guard. Without warning he will destroy them. He will even take on the Prince of princes in battle, but he will be broken, though not by human power." Daniel 8:24-25 (NLT)

"And the beast was allowed to wage war against God's holy people and overcome them." Revelation 13:7 (NLT

The Four Horsemen are the first in a series of "Seal" judgements. This is when God will judge the Earth, and is giving humans a chance to repent before they die. Which is followed by a global dictatorship under the Antichrist and the rest of the plagues. READ MORE: The Four Horsemen of Apocalypse (Revelations), revealed by Name

The end times will arrive with suddenness whether you are prepared or not. “That they all might be judged who believed not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thess. 2:10-12

“As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all” (Luke 17:26-27).

Do yourself a favor. Think for yourself. Be your own person. Question everything. Stand for principle. Champion individual liberty and self-ownership where you can. Develop a strong moral code. Be kind to others. Do no harm, unless that harm is warranted. Pretty obvious stuff...but people who hold these things in their hearts seem to be disappearing from the earth at an accelerated rate. Stay safe, my friends. Thanks for being here.
