Jeffrey Epstein: UNREDACTED: Media COVER-UP

By C. Rice, PPEmpire

I patiently waited for Jeffrey Epstein's court documents to finally be released, like waiting for the CIA to give up their Kennedy files. Then I read the articles from the mainstream media, the independent media, the alternative media and everyone in between. But it appears to me that there is a media cover-up going on.

I've covered, researched and wrote about this topic, off and on for the last, um, 15 years. So, I know what the hell I'm talking about. But I would never expect or ask you to just take my word for it. Instead allow me to present my evidence and you can come to your own conclusions. Fair nuff?

NOTE: This is a totally free article, no subscriptions or pay walls, no ads or pop ups, no donation buttons or anything to join or buy. No spam! I do not profit from any of this. I am not running for any political office, nor do I endorse any candidates or political parties.

My first example of media cover-up comes from police chief Michal Reiter and Sheriff John Mark Dougan, who claimed that Epstein was tipped off before the police raided Epstein's Florida mansion in 2005. The police officers go on to speculate that the state's attorney's office or the Sheriff's office may have tipped Jeffrey Epstein off. The problem was that it was pure speculation, there was no proof. But now, thanks to the redacted court documents, we know who tipped Epstein off and why.

Here's the quote and link from the original article:

NYPost: Jeffrey Epstein knew so much about the Palm Beach Police Department as it investigated him back in 2005, that he may have had someone inside tipping him off, the former police chief said.

The notorious pedophile multi-millionaire had somehow received advance warning of a search warrant, the ex-police chief, Michael Reiter, told Dateline NBC.

“The place had been cleaned up,” Reiter recalled, noting that a computer that would have stored all of his Palm Beach mansion’s video surveillance had vanished.

“And all the wires were left hanging there,” Reiter said.

NYPost: Palm Beach County Deputy Sheriff John Mark Dougan claims "every bedroom in Epstein’s houses had multiple cameras in them. He used to keep records of everybody. He used to store everything. So the Palm Beach Police Department, they knew that there were thousands and thousands of these DVDs. Except… Now, this is very interesting. When they went to search for them, they were gone.”

Dougan continues: “It’s not really a question of who would have had access. The question you should be asking is: Who had knowledge that the search was coming? And the answer to that is the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Because the state attorney’s office and sheriff’s office, they’re the ones who have to take the warrants and take them in front of the judge to get them signed off. There were elements within these two organizations that didn’t want to see anything happen to Epstein.”

WHO TIPPED EPSTEIN OFF?

Blast: In the newly unreleased documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, it has been revealed that during a 2010 deposition, a former model was asked about former President Bill Clinton's security advisor and if they tipped Epstein off about a raid.

The ex-model, Adriana Ross, was accused of being a co-conspirator of Jeffrey Epstein's s-x trafficking ring. In 2010, she took the stand to testify regarding her knowledge of Samuel Richard "Sandy" Berger, who was the top national security aide under the Clinton administration.

Per the newly unreleased documents, Ross was asked to identify who Berger was, and confirm if he was a "close friend" of Jeffrey Epstein's.

"That's somebody else that was affiliated with Bill Clinton at one point in time, correct?" Ross was asked during her testimony, to which she responded, "I refuse to answer."

Ross was then asked, "He called the house within three weeks of the search warrant being executed. Did he tip off Jeffrey Epstein?" to which Ross, once again, replied with, "I refuse to answer."

The former model passed away in 2015.

WHY DID EPSTEIN GET A SWEETHEART PLEA DEAL?

Some claimed that Epstein was CIA or MOSSAD or that Epstein had too much dirt on too many people. Here's what they were telling us...

Newsweek: New allegations from The Daily Beast and journalist Vicky Ward reported that Acosta told the Trump administration during the screening process for his current role that he was asked to cut a deal with Epstein because he was told the financier "belonged to intelligence," and that the issue was above his "pay grade."

Over a decade ago, when Acosta was serving as the U.S. attorney in Miami, Florida, he oversaw a non-prosecution plea deal for Epstein, who had been accused of unlawful sex with minors and prostitution, but ended up pleading guilty to two counts of soliciting prostitution from a minor.

THEY WERE NOT PROTECTING EPSTEIN HE WAS DISPOSABLE

They were protecting Prince Andrew, among others, with the non-prosecution agreement for any and all of Epstein's co-conspirators.

George W. Bush's White House directed U.S. Attorney of Florida, Alexander Acosta not to prosecute Epstein's co-conspirators to protect Prince Andrew on behalf of the British government, then the U.S.’s closest ally in the Iraq war.

During the negotiations over the deal, Epstein supplemented his team with former U.S. Solicitor General Ken Starr and Jay Lefkowitz, who had served in the administrations of former Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush. Lefkowitz and Starr had each worked previously with Acosta when he was a junior associate at the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis.

2007 - Epstein's lawyers met with Miami's top federal prosecutor Alexander Acosta, who would later become the Secretary of Labor in the Trump administration. They secretly negotiate the 'deal of a lifetime'.

Former Palm Beach police chief Michael Reiter said that in a secretive and rushed hearing, Acosta granted Epstein a non-prosecution deal that allowed Epstein to serve only 13 months in county jail in exchange for pleading guilty to two counts of prostitution. Epstein and his alleged co-conspirators were granted immunity, and Epstein's prison sentence wasn't really one at all: he was allowed to leave the building and go to work six days a week.

Attorney for Epstein's accusers, Jack Scarola said that Acosta's plea agreement was "inexplicable" to him. "In 45 years of practice, I've never heard of anyone entering into a plea agreement that not only granted immunity to the target of the investigation, but handed out get-out-of-jail-free cards to every one of that person’s co-conspirators."

President George W. Bush appointed Leslie Wexner, the longest-running CEO of a Fortune 500 company, founder of The Limited, owner of Victoria's Secret and Jeffrey Epstein's only known/admitted client, to serve in the Honorary Delegation to accompany him to Jerusalem for the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the State of Israel in May 2008.

It is worth noting that Leslie Wexner, who set up Jeffrey Epstein in various homes - including the largest private mansion in all of New York City which he gave to Epstein for the princely sum of $1 (and which already included surveillance cameras as per a 1996 article in The New York Times) was a major political contributor to the Bush family. As recently as 2015 Wexner cut a check in the amount of $500,000.00 to Jeb Bush who was a candidate in the 2016 U.S. Presidential election. Wexner’s wife, Abigail, made similar contributions to the Bush family.

MEDIA COVER-UP

CNN: Clinton’s name was mentioned many times in the unsealed court documents and depositions of several people who worked for Epstein, including accusations that Clinton “likes them young” and that the former president allegedly pressured Vanity Fair not to write about the disgraced financier. Former Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter, who oversaw the magazine at the time, told CNN last week that the alleged pressure from Clinton “”categorically did not happen.”

TRUE, it wasn't Clinton who threatened the media, it was Prince Andrew...

Independent: ABC News anchor Amy Robach, in a leaked video, bitterly complained: “I’ve had the story for three years. I’ve had this interview with [Epstein accuser] Virginia Roberts. We would not put it on the air.”

In the video, she says she was threatened by the UK’s royal family, who threatened to cut off their ability to cover their family if Prince Andrew’s secrets came out. And other networks have since corroborated that, in 2015, Epstein’s lawyers contacted them and asked them to keep the story from reaching the news.

CBSNews: Annie Farmer told jurors that she accepted an invitation to Epstein's New Mexico ranch in 1996 with the hopes that Maxwell and the financier would help her with academic endeavors. She said Maxwell's presence made her believe that she would be safe with Epstein. Instead, Farmer said Maxwell massaged her upper breast and Epstein climbed into bed with her without her permission.

Farmer’s story was cut from Vanity Fair writer Vicky Ward’s 2003 profile of Epstein. Ward has claimed editor Graydon Carter bowed to pressure from Epstein, but Carter says Ward’s sourcing at the time didn’t meet the magazine’s legal standards.

Maria Farmer says Vicky Ward tipped off Epstein that she was talking and Maxwell soon after began making death threats.

Farmer also claimed during the interview that Vicky Ward, a former writer for Vanity Fair who now works for CNN, harassed her family after Farmer shared her story. According to Maria Farmer, Vicky Ward told Epstein’s associate and co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell about her attempts to expose the sexual abuse carried out by the pedophile ring.

UNDERAGE SEX RING COVERED-UP

Acosta became Trump's new Secretary of Labor in 2017. Epstein was arrested in 2019 for sex trafficking — the very crime Acosta's office dismissed him for a decade prior. On July 12, Acosta announced his resignation from the cabinet position.

Since his July 2019 resignation, Acosta has kept out of the headlines and the public eye.

A federal judge later ruled in 2019 that Acosta's office broke the law when they concealed Epstein's plea agreement. According to The Miami Herald, Acosta's office colluded with Epstein's lawyers over email, and Acosta held meetings with Epstein's camp outside of the attorney's office.

BLACKMAIL, HONEYPOT, CIA?

USAToday: Jeffrey Epstein had reportedly been accused of sexually abusing dozens of minor girls at his Palm Beach mansion. He was staring down the barrel of a possible federal indictment that could have sent him to prison for life.

Instead, the wealthy financier pleaded guilty in Florida state court in 2008 to one count each of soliciting minors for prostitution and soliciting a prostitute. He served a 13-month stint in county jail and was regularly allowed to leave as part of a generous work release program.

Once he was free, a gilded Rolodex of the world's wealthy and powerful continued to mingle with the convicted sex offender. WHY? The reason is simple, Epstein took the heat while protecting his clients/co-conspirators.

When Epsten was first arrested, he fled to Israel, one because he is Jewish but more importantly, because Israel does not extradite (see video below). I had posted a news video of Epstein fleeing to Israel but YouTube has since removed it along with many other Epstein videos. It appears to be a media cover-up. But please do not take my word for it, here's the original article where YouTube says the videos are no longer available... Nude Photos of Girls Seized From Jeffrey Epstein Mansion

When Epstein got to Israel he found out that he was not welcome. It has since been removed but Netanyahu's son took to Twitter to put Epstein on blast. Then the Prime Minister picked up the phone and told Bush Jr. to handle this.

George W. Bush's White House directed U.S. Attorney of Florida, Alexander Acosta not to prosecute Epstein's co-conspirators to protect Prince Andrew on behalf of the British government, then the U.S.’s closest ally in the Iraq war.

Narativ: Despite what appears to be the makings of a blackmail operation, and Ben-Menashe’s revelations, there is no publicly available evidence of any blackmail attempts. Part of the reason for this may be that the acts were not only compromising in nature, but also potentially criminal. Or maybe there was no blackmail at all.

Accuracy: Ghislaine Maxwell is also alleged to have engaged in the rape of the girls she procured for Epstein and to have used them to produce child pornography.

It appears the Epstein sex tapes were made for three purposes, first as child pornography that was displayed throughout Epstein's NY mansion and Palm Beach house. Second, to threaten the victims with releasing comprimising photos to family and friends to stop them from coming forward. And third as a get-out-of-jail free card.

Before Epstein was arrested a second time, there was concern that he would flip like a mobster and sell everyone out. He was known to have video and photographic evidence. So Steve Bannon moved in with Jeffrey Epstein under the guise that he was there to help Jeffrey Epstein with a 60 minutes interview that never happened. Bannon was really there to see what Epstein had on everyone. Some people have speculated that whatever Bannon found he gave it to Donald Trump who is now using it to stay in power.

Salon: Epstein's lawyer made a proffer to the prosecutors: Epstein will agree to cooperate with the investigation, including giving up the names of individuals that paid for activities with underage girls in exchange for a maximum sentence not to exceed 5 years.

MURDER OR SUICIDE?

On July 23, 2019, Epstein was discovered with neck injuries in his cell and was placed on suicide watch.

Epstein denied that he’d ever attempted suicide. Instead, he claimed that he’d been beaten half-way to death by his cellmate, a former police officer named Nicholas Tartaglione. READ MORE: 10 Facts That Will Make You Believe Jeffrey Epstein Was Murdered (ListVerse)

READ MORE: Feds no longer seeking death penalty against ex-cop Nicholas Tartaglione

Epstein's body was discovered in his jail cell at Manhattan's Metropolitan Correctional Center on the morning of August 10, 2019. The circumstances surrounding his death were arguably suspicious: the guards had reportedly fallen asleep while on duty and failed to check on Epstein at the appointed times and the cameras monitoring his jail cell were not working.

The Washington Post reported that broken bones in his neck were more consistent with homicidal strangulation than a suicide by hanging. READ MORE: Disturbing evidence in Jeffrey Epstein’s autopsy points to his murder: pathologist (NY Post)

BBC: There were two separate cameras that should have caught anything happening in Epstein’s cell—and both simultaneously malfunctioned on the night he died.

At an August 27 hearing, Epstein defense attorney Reid Weingarten expressed "significant doubts" that Epstein's death was due to suicide. According to Weingarten, when attorneys met with their client shortly before his death, "we did not see a despairing, despondent, suicidal person"

Epstein's brother, Mark, has rejected the possibility of Jeffrey's suicide, claiming, "I could see if he got a life sentence, I could then see him taking himself out, but he had a bail hearing coming up." He also claimed his "life may also be in danger." READ MORE: Edward Snowden warns ‘Julian Assange could be next' after John McAfee and Epstein's ‘suicides'

CBSNews: On the morning of Jeffrey Epstein's death there was shouting and shrieking from his jail cell, a source familiar with the situation told CBS News. Corrections officers attempted to revive him while saying "breathe, Epstein, breathe."

Jeffrey Epstein was not arrested and murdered to protect future innocent victims; he was killed to protect Bill Clinton, Donald Trump and thousands of other powerful figures. I don't know why the entire country is not protesting over this obvious scandal of protecting the rich and powerful.

A PRESIDENTIAL COVER-UP

Geoffrey Berman, the powerful US attorney for the Southern District of New York was removed from his post at the weekend by Attorney General William Barr.

Berman is a Republican. He volunteered on Trump’s 2016 campaign and was once a law partner of Giuliani. He is also a former editor of the Stanford Law Review.

Berman accused the Duke of York of repeatedly refusing requests for interviews as part of his investigation into Epstein's co-conspirators. The Duke claims he has offered to help the US Department of Justice as a witness three times.

Now victims' lawyer Spencer Kuvin has called Berman's removal from office "highly suspect" and speculated that President Donald Trump or one of his staff may have asked Berman to stop investigating the Duke, then fired him after he refused.

Berman says “an endless email exchange” made it “clear we were getting the run-around” from lawyers who did not want the prince to talk to the SDNY about Epstein.

“He was not going to sit down with us,” Berman writes, “despite assuring the public that he was ready, willing and able to cooperate.”

Berman says a comment he made to reporters in January 2020, that Andrew had provided “zero cooperation”, brought the prince’s lawyers back to the table. But no interview ensued.

WHO KILLED JEFFREY EPSTEIN?

It was reported in 2020 that French investigators could consider questioning Prince Andrew about his links with Brunel, who had shared Epstein as a mutual acquaintance.

Following the arrest, Ms Roberts taunted Prince Andrew on social media. 'Are you sweating yet, Prince Andrew?' she wrote.

'You should be. Your buddy Jean-Luc Brunel is behind bars. Remember those girls he supplied to you on the island?'

French modelling agent Jean-Luc Brunel, 76, who allegedly procured more than a thousand women and girls for Epstein to sleep with, was found hanged in his prison cell in an alleged suicide.

A source told the Telegraph Andrew will be spending today 'quietly at home'.

His birthday fell on the same day that Brunel, Epstein's alleged 'pimp', was reportedly found hanged in his cell in France.

DailyMail: Prince Andrew marked the quietest royal birthday in modern history as he looked to lay low after settling his sex abuse case with Virginia Roberts.

The muted celebration of his 62nd birthday came just hours after the death of Jeffrey Epstein's 'pimp', who was accused of trafficking hundreds of girls to the pedophile financier.

Epstein was similarly found dead in his prison cell in New York City on August 10, 2019, while he was awaiting trial for federal sex trafficking and numerous allegations of sexual abuse. His death was determined by a medical examiner to be suicide by hanging.

PRINCE ANDREW'S GOVERNMENT FILES WILL REMAIN SECRET UNTIL 2065

Newsweek: Files relating to Prince Andrew's trips as a U.K. trade envoy will be kept secret by the British government until 2065, sparking allegations that officials "want to sweep it all under the carpet" from anti-monarchy campaigners.

The Duke of York quit public life in disgrace over his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein after a car-crash November 2019 interview.

He also settled a lawsuit in which Virginia Giuffre said she was forced to have sex with the royal in London, New York and the U.S. Virgin Islands by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell while she was a trafficking victim. Andrew denied the allegations but paid her an undisclosed sum.

Ordinarily, government documents are declassified after 20 years, meaning any files held by the Foreign Office at the time of the allegations against Andrew would already be in line for release.

Andrew told journalist Emily Maitlis during his 2019 BBC interview he had stayed overnight in Epstein's home in order to break up their friendship.

However, documents disclosed during a lawsuit between the U.S. Virgin Islands Government and JP Morgan bank show Epstein and Andrew appear to have discussed a possible oil investment at the time.

The court filing, disclosed by The Mail on Sunday in July 2023, read: "On December 2, 2010, Jeffrey Epstein forwards an email to Staley from Prince Andrew with an inquiry the Prince received from Aria Petroleum looking for a $200m working capital line.

JUDGE ORDERS CHARGES DROPPED AGAINST EPSTEIN JAIL GUARDS

January 4, 2022 NEW YORK (AP) — A judge ordered charges dropped against two Bureau of Prisons guards who admitted falsifying records after Jeffrey Epstein took his own life in jail over two years ago.

The guards — Tova Noel and Michael Thomas — had agreed to deferred prosecution deals last May that required them to admit their guilt with the understanding that charges in a federal indictment would be dismissed if they followed the rules of their agreement for six months. They also were required to do 100 hours of community service.

In court papers, prosecutors said Noel and Thomas were at their desks just 15 feet (4.5 meters) from Epstein’s cell as they shopped online for furniture and motorcycles and failed to make required rounds every 30 minutes. The indictment alleged that both appeared to have fallen asleep for one two-hour stretch.

In a release, attorney Jason Foy said that Noel, his client, had provided the government with “truthful insight into the toxic culture, subpar training, staffing shortages, and dysfunctional management of the now closed Metropolitan Correctional Center. In exchange for Ms. Noel’s cooperation, all charges against her were dismissed.”

BUSINESS-AS-USUAL

EW: While there are undeniable links between Trump and Epstein, the relationship between Bill Clinton and Epstein is much more involved. Flight records show that Clinton flew on Epstein’s plane at least 26 times to about a dozen international locations. Flight logs did not list any secret service detail for five flights. Epstein was also involved in some of Clinton’s projects: He was a heavy donator of the Clinton Foundation. According to attorney Gerald B. Lefcourt, Epstein was also “part of the original group that conceived of the Clinton Global Initiative”.

Doug Bands (Office of William J. Clinton) is listed in Epstein's black book on page 4.

Epstein recorded 5 phone numbers and 3 addresses under this name.

In addition to his work launching the Clinton Global Iniative, Epstein also donated $25,000 to the Clinton Foundation in 2006 through his own personal charity, according to the Daily Beast. That donation came after Epstein developed a close personal relationship with Bill Clinton during a month-long trip to Africa in 2002.

Mark Middleton, the presidential advisor who introduced Jeffrey Epstein to Bill Clinton, was found dead by hanging using a cheap extension cord … with a gunshot wound to his chest. His death was deemed a suicide. A few months prior, a woman linked to Middleton was found dead using a similar extension cord.

Several individuals close to Epstein also died in mysterious circumstances. For instance, in 2020, Hollywood producer Steve Bing (who was close with Jeffrey Epstein and Bill Clinton) died after falling off the 27th floor of his apartment building. While the official cause of death is “suicide,” some claim that he was killed in “Russian-mafia style” because he knew too much.

MiamiHerald: In the end, whether they participated in illicit acts or not, anyone who visited the homes of Jeffrey Epstein, hung out at his pool or spent time in his presence would have to be blind not to spot what he was up to, according to two victims of the late sex trafficker.

The women, in their testimony unsealed Tuesday, said he flaunted his attraction to young women and girls, some of them underage.

The allegation is significant because so many famous people — from Donald Trump to Bill Clinton — were attracted to Epstein’s orbit, flying on his plane, as in the case of Clinton; or, as in Trump’s case, partying with him at Mar-a-Lago, a scene captured on video.

Trump told New York Magazine that he’d known Epstein for 15 years. “Terrific guy,” said Trump. “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.” Trump’s name appears on the flight log for Epstein’s plane, and Epstein’s brother claimed that Trump flew on the aircraft “numerous times

Given Epstein’s illegal behavior was an open secret, which Trump may have participated in, you seem to have Trump expressly praising a pedophile, and then promoting the government official who helped prevent Epstein from receiving real justice for his crimes.

Attorney Alan Dershowitz, credited with helping Epstein get the notorious plea deal in Florida in 2008, flew on his former client’s plane several times between 1998 and 2005.

Dershowitz freely admits that he visited Epstein’s Little Saint James Island, the criminal sanctuary of Jeffrey Epstein.

HillTV noted that December 2000 travel records found on Epstein's plane mentioned a "massage" that was scheduled for "AD."

In shades of “I did not inhale,” Alan Dershowitz admitted he got a massage at Jeffrey Epstein’s mansion but insists he kept his underwear on and never saw an underage girl there.

A local news report from WPLG about Dershowitz at the Epstein mansion shows Dershowitz stating emphatically, “I never saw an underage woman” at Epstein’s mansion. But it also shows a transcript of Epstein’s former butler’s sworn testimony stating Dershowitz had been there when “young ladies” were around.

The deposition documents suggest Dershowitz procured Epstein’s controversial deal in order to provide immunity for himself against rape allegations.

Jeffrey Epstein documents have Donald Trump's name all over them. Disguised as 'Doe 174.'

BusinessInsider: US District Judge Loretta Preska's list identifies Doe 174 as a person whose "association with Epstein and Maxwell has been widely reported in the media already, and his or her name came up during Maxwell's public criminal trial."

Trump also came up several times during Maxwell's trial. One of his Mar-a-Lago employees testified about an Epstein victim working at Mar-a-Lago. Flight records made public on the trial showed Trump flew on Epstein's plane with his son Eric.

In her December order to unseal the names, Preska said some Does didn't argue to keep their identities secret. For Doe 36, who's Bill Clinton, for example, Preska wrote that he didn't object to having his name unsealed.

But she did not include that note in her ruling for Doe 174, instead writing that "no interests that outweigh the presumption of access have been identified with specificity."

"This material should be unsealed in full," Preska ruled.

While three of the nine documents naming Doe 174 have not yet been fully unsealed, the public docket includes versions with some redactions.

Former President Donald Trump took at least seven trips on Jeffrey Epstein’s “Lolita Express” private plane — far more than was previously known, according to newly released flight logs. Epstein’s personal little black book, which was leaked by an employee in 2009, contained 10 phone numbers for Trump, his wife, Melania, and several people who worked for him.

Epstein victim Maria Farmer claims Ivana Trump, President Trump’s ex-wife, frequently accompanied Ghislaine Maxwell when she went to recruit pre-teen girls for Epstein.

Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's girlfriend briefly discussed Epstein's hidden cameras and sex tapes with CBS News 60 Minutes producer Ira Rosen, also making clear that there were tapes of both Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.

Trump hired Attorney Alan Dershowitz, the same attorney that got Epstein his sweetheart deal. Trump also promoted Acosta who cut the sweetheart deal. But wait, it gets worse... Acosta proposed that the Labor Department cut 80 percent of the funding to a program dedicated to combating human trafficking. Pastor Bill Losasso, Founder and President of the Florida Dream Center told 10News the potential budget cuts are "disgusting."

Few people on earth are so exploited as children trafficked into the sex trade. And now they are being exploited again, by President Donald Trump.

However, the newly unsealed documents were also notable for the information they did not reveal.

THERE WASN'T A FULL LIST OF UNREDACTED NAMES

During his life, Epstein, a well-connected financier, ran in elite circles, rubbing elbows with world leaders and prominent businesspeople, even after he pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting an underage prostitute and registered as a sex offender.

The question of who from Epstein’s well-heeled inner circle knew about – or participated in – his alleged illegal activities has been the source of anger and interest among victims’ advocates, law enforcement officials and members of the public in the years after the scope of Epstein’s crimes have become more well-known.

An individual’s inclusion in the documents does not indicate that person was accused of any wrongdoing – and much of the information found in the documents has been reported on in various media outlets in the years since they were originally sealed.

Les Wexner and many other wealthy “clients” of Jeffrey Epstein have taken great pains to develop sophisticated PR strategies aimed at keeping their reputations unscathed from the continuing fallout in the Epstein case. Wexner and others, such as Bill Gates, have pursued a narrative where all bad deeds are attributed to the now conveniently dead Jeffrey Epstein, while his enablers, accomplices, and close associate were merely duped by Epstein’s charisma or manipulated by his wiles. Many of these individuals, however, and particularly Les Wexner, clearly have something to hide.

FBI COVER-UP

“As counsel to many survivors of the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking conspiracy, we write regarding the failure of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to properly, adequately, or timely investigate the sex trafficking of hundreds of girls and young women,” wrote Jennifer Freeman, senior counsel at the Marsh Law Firm. “The FBI utterly failed to investigate serious allegations involving Epstein’s, and perhaps others’, child sex abuse materials (CSAM), significant additional criminality which, until recently, has been disregarded, disrespected, and essentially denied.”

Freeman, whose firm also represents Sarah Ransome, another victim of Epstein and Maxwell, wrote that the FBI, Justice Department, and Attorney General must “conduct a comprehensive investigation to determine why there was and remains such abject failure to timely investigate, expose, and prosecute this unprecedented, decades-long criminal conspiracy.”

“For many years, the public has been asking for a reckoning by the FBI and the United States government for its clear dereliction of duty to serve and protect the American people against the Epstein sex trafficking conspiracy,” wrote Freeman, adding, “However, we are aware of no investigation of the FBI and certainly no public disclosure or explanation.”

It adds that, “in response to Ms. Farmer’s clear-eyed, prescient report, and despite subsequent repeated red flags that Epstein trafficked girls and collected sexualized images of children, the FBI appears, for years, to have done little to investigate and prosecute Epstein’s sex trafficking, and, to date, done nothing regarding reports of possible CSAM.”

The existence of lewd images made news again in 2019 after the feds arrested Epstein for trafficking dozens of underage girls in New York. At the time, the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office announced that a search of his Upper East Side townhouse unearthed “an extraordinary volume of photographs of nude and partially-nude young women or girls.” Some images were found inside a locked safe, on CDs with labels such as “Girl pics nude” and “Misc nudes 1.”

At Maxwell’s criminal trial in late 2021, an FBI agent testified that authorities also discovered boxes of hard drives, mysteriously covered in evidence tape that hadn’t been placed there by police. And when prosecutors showed jurors a video of Palm Beach police’s 2005 walk-through of Epstein’s home, the footage revealed the decor included sexualized photos of underage girls and one photo of Epstein posing with a girl in her underwear.

In her letter to the FBI, Freeman wrote, “To date, law enforcement still has not seriously pursued possible CSAM crimes involving Epstein. Had law enforcement done their job, the Epstein trafficking and possible CSAM crimes could have been stopped.”

“It’s imperative to hold the FBI responsible for failing to investigate what happened to so many survivors,” Freeman said in an interview. “Accountability is critical in order to ensure that this never happens again.”

The scandal waiting to explode is why law enforcement has ignored this ever-growing sex trafficking ring. We need an explanation for why people are not being charged and prosecuted. Is this an instance of classic influence peddling corruption in law enforcement? Why no action? The silence is now deafening.

I don't know why the entire country is not protesting over this obvious scandal of protecting the rich and powerful.

And in 2011 and again in 2013, Christopher Rice helped to coordinate hunger strikes in protest of inhuman and degrading conditions of confinement in California's state run prison system. The hunger strikes also spurred successful litigation that would ultimately end the use of long-term solitary confinement in California.
